PAINTING AIM

PAINTING AIM
My aim is to be able to create paintings with visual impact and some kind of drama related to the colours of light and shade. My tools for this are strong tonal composition and colour intensity variation.

SUBJECT MATTER
Subject matter is usually suburban, riverside, rural landscape, and still life such as flowers.

Confidence developed through the experience of completing three or more studio paintings or plein air studies each week for several years, has been an important factor in my recent artistic development
